![]() ![]() ![]() Opening a window locks the window's max resolution to that monitor.There's no "duplicate panel" option (I hope I'm wrong), so every time you add a monitor you have to manually reconfigure the whole thing to match.Needless to say I turned off Power Saving. There's also no way to swap a Deskstop config to a different monitor, so I have to re-setup all 3 monitors every time my screen goes dark. This means when my screen turns off for any reason (like inactivity), and I wake the screen, KDE only sees two monitors for a split second, rearranges my desktops, then adds my primary back in as a new monitor. My primary monitor, detected as unplugged by my GPU when soft-off (maybe because DP, idk). Monitor hot-swapping completely ruins your desktop configuration.This forces me to constantly change the monitor settings in full-screen programs. You can set a primary monitor, but some programs ignore this and start on whichever monitor has an id of 0, which for me if my secondary monitor. There is no way to set monitor priority.I modified the xrandr file to fit my needs, but it seems to be ignored. The solution is to modify the local group policy on the REMOTE machine (the one you are using RDP to connect to). They'd move them back and the next time they'd disconnect and reconnect the same thing would happen. ![]() In my case, I had a user remotely connecting to an office desktop from a desktop at their home, and every time they would reconnect, all their open apps would migrate over to a single monitor. It turns out that one of the patches depreciates the use of the XDDM display driver in favor of the WDDM display driver and that causes this problem. I don't know if you've found a solution as of yet, but I finally stumbled across one that fixed my issue that is almost identical to yours. ![]()
